Challenge 1 Results
TJ: Congrats Derrick and Ruthie for winning the first challenge. You are the first "Adam and Eve" of Battle of the Sexes: Garden of Eden.
Derrick: I did not want to win... I did not want to win the first one. I didn't want to be the one to set the tone for the game.
Ruthie: I wanted to win the first one because there are people here who need to go home before others! For too long, I've played this game with a heart.
TJ: Derrick and Ruthie, you will head to the garden and ascend to your thrones. There you will decide who you are going to put up for elimination. You will also find the Golden Apple, that you can give to one your fellow contestants...
Davis: I was so close. I was minutes away from winning this challenge... now I am going into an elimination game... great!
TJ: The rest of use will meet you in the garden in 30 minutes... Good luck!
... the cast leaves and heads back to the house, while Derrick and Ruthie head to the garden ...

The Garden
... Derrick and Ruthie ascend the platform and find a seat in their thrones overlooking the garden ...
Ruthie: So what do you think?
Derrick: I don't want to set a negative tone.
Ruthie: This is the toughest challenge you are going to do... negative or positive... you need to do what you need to do to win.
Derrick: This is true... lets look at the Golden Apple, first.
... Ruthie picks up the apple and reads the note ...
This apple will prevent a contestant from being picked to go into the elimination game by the person you select!
Ruthie: I think we should give it to Davis or KellyAnn
Derrick: I think that would set a good tone.. They did come in second.... I will let you decide who gets it.
Ruthie: KellyAnn does not need it... the team is scared of her. I am not picking her to go into elimination and whoever I pick, won't pick her... so I am going to give it to Davis.
Ruthie: Davis.
Derrick: Ok. so do we work together?
Ruthie: I think the only thing we have to work together for is the apple...
Derrick: Ok, well then I know what I am doing. you?
Ruthie: Yes.
... TJ and the cast enters the garden ...
TJ: Whats going on Adam and Eve!
Derrick: Hey TJ! Whats up guys!
TJ: Before we get to the nominations, can you please lower the apple to me please.
... Derrick lowers the apple, TJ grabs it and walks before the teams ...
TJ: One of you has been selected to receive this apple. Remember, it could have a good impact or a bad impact on your game... Derrick, would you like to tell us who you gave the apple to and why...
Derrick: Ruthie and I decided that we would give it to the second place team for being such great competitors. I then let Ruthie decide if it should be KellyAnn or Davis...
Ruthie: and I picked Davis.
Davis: They picked me? They picked me because I came in second. Is this a trick? Am I going to accept the apple and it says, you are automatically in the elimination round? I dont know what to do!
TJ: Davis, will you be accepting this apple from Adam and Eve....
Different cast members: DO IT!!!!
Johnny Bananas: I want him to take it because i want to see what kind of things are offered through the Golden Apple
Davis: I know I am being nominated to the elimination round regardless, as I am low man on totem pole, so I'll accept it. What can it hurt?
... Davis takes the apple and reads the card ...
Davis: This apple will prevent a contestant from being picked to go into the elimination game by the person you select!
Tina: WOW! Golden Apples can bring immunity from the elimination round... what can it do for you if it is a negative apple!
Davis: OH MY!! Thank you Derrick and Ruthie. I was for sure I was going into the elimination game... thank you, thank you!!!
... Davis makes his way back to the team area for the guys ...
TJ: Time for nominations for elimination! Derrick and Ruthie, who have you nominated?
Derrick: Guys, as the first Adam, I wanted to set a tone. A positive tone... Yes, you were the first person to fall... I am sorry. I have nominated you!
Yes: I knew as soon as I heard my name with Casey's that I would be in the elimination game today. She should be in there with me. Lets see.
Ruthie: For the girls, I've picked Jenn. I think it is the best for our team... and I hope you respect that.
Ruthie: Jenn fell second today, after Casey. For me, nominating Jenn was purely strategic. Who else is Jenn going to pick, but Casey? If I nominated Casey, she could pick anyone. If I pick anyone BUT Casey... I knew who they would pick. I will talk with Jenn after the Garden so it doesn't turn into something personal.
TJ: Yes and Jenn, please meet me down here in the center of the Garden...
... the two nominees make their way to the center of the garden ...
TJ: It is time to pick your opponents for the Garden of Eden Elimination Challenge!

Garden Elimination Game 1
... TJ waits, while Yes and Jenn pick their challenges ...
TJ: Alright, Yes... who have you decided on....
Yes: I don't have a lot to go on... so I am going to go on who I think I can beat. It is nothing personal... as much as you guys want to stay in the game, so do I... lets go, Big Sy.
... Syrus nods and makes his way to the center ...
TJ: Yes v. Syrus... alright.... good competition. Jenn, how about you?
Jenn: I am going to have to go with Casey... just like Yes, I dont have much to go on... I just want to stay in the game.
Casey: After the Ruins, I did do some intense training. I haven't gotten over my fears, but I have put one SOME muscle... if this is kicking bambo post... im winning this time!
TJ: Syrus v. Yes... and Jenn v. Casey tonight. These should be a good face-offs!
... as TJ says the word face-off , two ropes drop down from above the garden ...
TJ: This elimination game is called Capture the Flag. At the top of your rope is a flag, that you must grab, first, in order to stay in the game. Tonight, Yes... Syrus... Jenn... Casey... two of you, will be going home. The guys are up first...
... the guys get into position ...
TJ: Ready... Set... Climb!!!
The two begin climbing up the rope... Syrus starts out with a lead, as he jumped to begin his climb a little higher than Yes. Yes begins to pick up ground, but Syrus pulls ahead again. About half way up the rope, Syrus appears to be out of air and Yes is only one arms length away from Syrus... Syrus regains composure and goes for his next pull... and slips off the rope.
Elka: When Syrus fell, I almost started crying. I know how much fun is he is to be around and I know how much he loves these challenges... and that fall pretty much guaranteed his elimination.
As Syrus hit the ground, Yes reaches his flag and wins the first elimination challenge!
TJ: Syrus, that ends your time here.. not for a lack of trying though, as that was a valiant effort on your part. I am sure we will be seeing you again. Yes, you can return to your team. Casey and Jenn, you are up!
... the girls get into position ...
TJ: Ready, Set... CLIMB!
The girls begin to make their way up the rope, when everyone seems very surprised...
Evan: Something is going on with Casey. She actually jumped right away... she is pulling herself up the rope... who is this girl?
Jenn takes an early lead but begins to slow down as she is running out of energy. Casey is beginning to struggle, but she is only one arm length away from Jenn.
Jenn: I look over and Casey is right there with me... I am getting nervous, so I dig down deep to push forward
Jenns burst of energy is not enough, as Casey releases her burst of energy first and reaches the top and grabs the flag seconds before Jenn reaches her...
KellyAnn: ARE YOU SERIOUS! Did Casey just win an elimination challenge? This girl must have heard the things we said about her on the Ruins and went home and did something about it!
Jenn: Did I just lose to Casey? haha. just kidding girl! Congrats. Good job. Kick ass!
... Jenn and Casey hug ...
TJ: Casey... I am shocked. Who was that girl that just climbed that rope?
Casey: After the Ruins, I knew if I was going to come back, I needed to train and actually give a shit. I am tired of coming here and not going home with money!
TJ: Congrats again. Jenn, this ends your time here. I am sure we will see you again!
Jenn: Thanks TJ! Bye Guys!
... Jenn leaves the Garden as TJ addresses the cast ...
TJ: Tonight, Syrus and Jenn left us... the game has begun! Go home, rest up. You're next challenge is tomorrow at 11 am! Good night!

for the record: I used random.org I put 10 names in a list... 5 "casey"'s and 5 "jenn"s... I randomized it... and which ever name appeared 5 times first in the list, won! I am going to post the next challenge here tomorrow morning...
